Another tax season finished.
Starting January 1, 2012 if you are under 65 years of age, receiving a CPP retirement pension and working you will have to start contributing to CPP. If you are between the ages of 65 and 70, receiving CPP pension benefits and still working you will be required to start contributing to CPP again unless you complete a form to elect to stop contributions. This election will remain in effect until either you revoke it or you turn 70.
